Elena has a passion for story telling and one of her greatest skills is making specialised information understandable to a general audience. She would love to discuss any upcoming projects with you.

Elena has been a freelance Producer, Director, Videographer and Editor for online video productions since 2012, predominantly at UNSWTV, and has over ten years experience in commercial TV production prior to that.

She has worked as a Field Producer on some of Australia’s highest rating factual shows, such as Find My Family (Channel 7) and RPA (Channel 9), along with working at leading production companies such as Endemol Southern Star, Screentime, Granada, Fremantle Media, Quail Television, the Nine Network and the Seven Network.

Elena’s short documentaries have been selected into film festivals in Australia, Mexico and the USA. She also has experience making videos in the not-for-profit sector as a volunteer in Argentina and Malaysia.

Elena’s formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, History and Spanish and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from NSW TAFE and a Masters in Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Elena has also spent five years overseas, living and working in Lausanne (Switzerland), London (England) and Montreal (Canada) and travelling around Europe, Asia and the Americas. She speaks French and Spanish and loves meeting people from all different walks of life and learning about other cultures.

More recently Elena has become a mother to two young children. She enjoys spending time with her family and ducking out for swims and walks along the coast.
